Roberto Litta

Scrittore, drammaturgo e critico d’arte, Roberto Litta coltiva fin dai tempi del liceo una profonda passione per la storia e per l’arte italiana. Al grande pubblico è arrivato con il romanzo storico L’uomo che vive due volte, oggi alla terza edizione; con Dieci Racconti, raccolta di fiabe illustrate, ha avviato un progetto itinerante che porta letteratura e arte tra i giovani, affrontando bullismo ed emergenza educativa.A writer, playwright and art critic, Roberto Litta has cultivated a deep passion for Italian history and art since his school years. He reached a wide readership with the historical novel L’uomo che vive due volte, now in its third edition; with Dieci Racconti, a collection of illustrated fables, he launched a travelling project that brings literature and art to young audiences, tackling bullying and the educational emergency.

Come critico si distingue per un approccio che lega le opere alla storia, alle condizioni sociologiche e alle correnti filosofiche del loro tempo: l’arte raccontata come vicenda umana, mai come inventario. Ha curato mostre a livello nazionale e internazionale e nel 2024 ha firmato il catalogo ragionato delle opere di Nelvis Fornasin, contribuendo a uno dei più importanti studi sulla pittura napoletana.As a critic he stands out for an approach that ties artworks to the history, social conditions and philosophical currents of their time: art told as human experience, never as inventory. He has curated exhibitions in Italy and abroad and in 2024 authored the catalogue raisonné of Nelvis Fornasin’s work, contributing to one of the most important studies of Neapolitan painting.
